Outpost Outdoors is located at Pickwick Dam in Hardin County, Tennessee — one of the most scenic and adventure-rich corners of the mid-South. Pickwick Lake, formed by the Tennessee Valley Authority's Pickwick Landing Dam on the Tennessee River, stretches across three states and offers some of the most diverse outdoor recreation in the region.

Our SXS rental operation sits at the gateway to miles of off-road trails, forest roads, and backcountry terrain that wind through the hills and hollows surrounding the lake. Whether you're a first-time rider or a seasoned off-road enthusiast, the trails around Pickwick Dam deliver an unforgettable experience.

The area is also home to Pickwick Landing State Park, one of Tennessee's premier state parks, offering camping, swimming, golf, and world-class fishing. Pickwick Lake is renowned as one of the top bass and catfish fisheries in the Southeast.

Hardin County, Tennessee is steeped in history — the site of the Battle of Shiloh, one of the most significant engagements of the Civil War, is just a short drive from our location. The Shiloh National Military Park draws visitors from across the country and pairs perfectly with a day of trail riding at Outpost Outdoors.
